  • May, 2008:
    • Wonder Full Wednesday. Check out the latest list of programs for May.
    • People & Cultures of the World. A new Wonder Full Wednesday series begins on June 4 and continue weekly through June and July, led by Pastor Carol.
    • You’re Invited to Dinner! Wonder Full Wednesday Dinners continue weekly, from 5:00 ‘til 6:15 p.m. in Agape Hall/200.
  • April, 2008:
    • Health Series Starts in April. A new Wonder Full Wednesday health series, will focus on specific areas where health can be enhanced by everyone.
    • Exploring Aspects of World Religions Taking a close look at some of the world’s diverse religions can help Christians better understand their own faith.
    • Build a Mountain of Food For Open Door Ways you can help.
  • February, 2008:
    • In The Dust of the Rabbi. The Lenten series to be held in Agape Hall/200 at 6:15 p.m. Wednesdays starting February 13.
    • Reflection on the 23rd Psalm A booklet of relevant and thoughtful devotions, prepared by and for this congregation.
    • Peter, a Lenten series. Omar Sharif plays Peter in this special DVD version where you’ll watch the drama and enjoy the discussion that follows.
  • January, 2008:
    • Getting Acquainted Gathering. Here's your opportunity to get better acquainted with others in the church, while also learning about this church and how it operates?
    • Spring Dining Out Together. It’s that time again! Sign up at the Connections Center or office and to be part of a different group for each month. With each group, you’ll go out to eat at a designated restaurant, and a good time will be held by all!
    • Wonder Full Wednesday Programs Check out January's schedule of Wonder Full Wednesday Programs.
  • December, 2007:
    • Annual Christmas Cantata. This year’s Christmas Cantata,“Voices from Bethlehem”, will be presented in Agape Hall Saturday, December 8, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 9, 10:30 a.m.
    • Children’s Christmas Workshop The Greatest Gift, a Children’s Christmas Workshop, is offered to families on Saturday afternoon, December 15.
    • Adopt-A-Family Christmas The church’s annual Adopt-A-Family Christmas project is underway.
  • November, 2007:
    • Team to Ethiopia. The dates for the Work-Sharing Team to Ethiopia are set. Team members will do educational/spiritual work, health services, and/or construction on the new buildings.
    • Happy Anniversary to us! In October 2002, the Family Life Center was opened for ministry. This past October, we celebrated the 5th anniversary.
  • October, 2007:
    • DOES YOUR WILL STILL WORK? It may be time to re-draft or add a codicil to your will.
    • BEACON OF HOPE: PUMC is a “Beacon of Hope” to the community not only in what we do, but also in where we do it—right in the hub of downtown Prescott.
  • September, 2007:
    • ALL-CHURCH FAMILY CAMP: A Famly Fun filled weekend bringing together the congregation for fun, fellowship and inspiration in a casual setting.
    • WAS WALT DISNEY A CHRISTIAN? Pastor Nancy investigates this question asked by many following the "The Gospel in Disney" sermon series.
  • August, 2007:
    • CHRISTIANITY: EXPERIENCE OF THE DIVINE: This new DVD-Discussion series on our faith will be held on Sundays at 9 a.m., August through September
    • DISCIPLE 1 BIBLE STUDY: Disciple I is an excellent way to get an overview of the entire Bible. You are invited to come and join your fellow faith sojourners in a 34-week adventure that will lead you into a new sense of God’s love and purpose for your life.
  • July, 2007:
    • STEPHEN MINISTERS COMMISSIONED: Twelve additional ministers ready and willing to serve as confidential, one-on-one, supportive and listening Christian caregivers.
    • THE CROSS AND THE CRESCENT: A new 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning series, The Crusades presents the epic battle fought over two centuries between two Middle Age superpowers, the Christian Crusaders and the Muslims.
    • THE EVIDENCE FOR HEAVEN: Where is Heaven? What will Heaven be like? Is there now scientific evidence that Heaven exists? What does the Bible say about Heaven? These are just some of the questions to be examined in this 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning series.
  • June, 2007:
    • FREEDOM; GOD AND COUNTRY: As the 4th of July approaches, here’s an opportunity to examine, in a new way, the roots of our country’s freedom in relation to our faith. Classes at 9:00 a.m. Sunday mornings in Galilee/513.
    • CENTERING PRAYER EXPERIENCE: A new 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning series, BE STILL AND KNOW—Experience in Centering Prayer, will be offered each week in June, in the Upper Room/307.
    • LAY SPEAKER COURSE: A Basic Refresher Lay Speaking Course will be conducted at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church in Sun City West on Saturday, June 23, 2007.
  • May, 2007:
    • WONDER FULL WEDNESDAY PROGRAMS: A variety of unique, entertaining and inspirational programs are planned for May. Also come early and join us for dinner.
    • YOUNG ADULTS MEET WEEKLY: Plan on some great activity, good eats, and meaningful fun, all in the name of Christ. All young adults in the 20s to 30s age range are invited!
    • PETER PERRY SEND-OFF AND POTLUCK: Join us in a special opportunity to honor our former pastor Peter Perry and his family, as he finalizes his plans to serve in a mission church opportunity in Alaska for four years. As he moves on to an exciting new mission field, so we want to say “Farewell” and “Vaya con Dios!” to our friend.
  • April, 2007:
    • SIX FAVORITE PSALMS: Prayers for help, songs of praise, and instruction for life are all joined in this wonderful book of the Holy Bible. Kay Price will lead a short-term class that focuses on six specially chosen psalms.
    • MAYBERRY BIBLE STUDY: This biblically based MAYBERRY series reminds us that "Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable." (Matthew 13:34)
    • TOUR 'N TALK:Want to learn more about "what happens where" at this church? Carol Miller and Pastor Carol will lead a tour of the church facility.
  • March, 2007:
    • WALK AS JESUS WALKED: Making Disciples. An all new DVD-Discussion for Lent.
    • A GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING... Supporting and strengthening our ministry for years to come through gifts to the Endowment Fund.
    • COLUMBARIUM UPDATE. If you haven't looked over the wall at the Memorial Garden and Columbarium lately, take a moment to do so!
  • February, 2007:
    • LENTEN STUDY: THIS HOLY MYSTERY… "This is the body of Christ. This is the blood of Christ…" You'll be able to reclaim a richer sacramental life through the group study of THIS HOLY MYSTERY.
    • SIDEWALK SUNDAY SCHOOL You've heard about it; now here it comes! SIDEWALK SUNDAY SCHOOL is an extensive educational outreach program for children of the community.
    • STEPHEN MINISTRY NEWS. Ben is now turning over that leadership to another Stephen Leader, Donna Gaddy. Donna will head the team of Stephen Leaders.
  • January 1, 2007:
    • AN EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY: Russia 2007-the Volga River Cruise, St. Petersburg to Moscow
