The Dove of Peace

 
We are continually concerned about the crisis in the Middle East. As a congregation, we have hung up a dove banner in our church sanctuary to remind us to pray for peace and ask that peace may be the ultimate end of the confrontation. Regardless of whether we believe war is the answer or just the opposite. This banner will remain hanging in our sanctuary until the current crisis is resolved. As a congregation, may we see this symbol as a united front to pray for the people living in the Middle East and for our military personnel.

Also, if you know of someone who has been deployed, please give their name to the church office that we might also remember them in our prayers.
