A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Well, here we are and it is now time for the snow,
Gettin' colder each day the winter wind does blow,
But all in all, we find it not so very bad,
We have so much more than many have had.
With love of Family and more than of few
Of those "other Folks" we call "Family" too.
So thankful are we for all of God's gifts,
For all of His love that "picks up" and lifts.
Thanks be to God for the gift of His Son,
Born for us all and loving us, each one.
So, during this season of Christian cheer,
It is time to rejoice, for we have Jesus near.
Let us remember and always be strong,
In living for Him the whole year long.
He came to save us and cleanse us of sin,
Praise God and Praise Jesus, Praise Him again.
Each year at this time, we do rediscover
The gift of Jesus, sent by Our Father,
Worshipping Him, praising His Name,
Again next year, we will do the same!
Merry Christmas to all, we wish you cheer,
As you walk with Jesus all through the New Year.
